A Little History:

Italo-American Federal Credit Union was started by a group of Italian-Americans in 1935, to serve the needs of the Italian immigrant population of New York City, at a time when financial assistance was not available to them. Unlike banks, Credit Unions are owned and run by its members. There are no outside stockholders. All earnings are returned to members by way of Dividends after expenses. Italo-American Federal Credit Union is supervised and insured to $100,00.00 per account by the National Credit Union Administration, a branch of the Federal Government. We grant loans, 1st & 2nd mortgages, personal loans, car and boat loans at fair interest rates. We try to meet your needs. Italo-American Federal Credit Union has served the Italian-American Community for 73 years. We would like to continue its proud tradition and serve the next generation of Italian-Americans in their financial needs.
